I think that it is hard to say due to the amount of fish out there that we haven't even seen but for me it is my L14

Hehehe I wish...

Nah mate, Im one of the unlucky ones - I live in Perth where all you see is common bristlenoses and common plecos...

L273 is around in asia though. The japanese shops have them fairly regularly. There are links to these shops all over pleco fans.

Trust me, you dont want them if they are "Floating around":lol
they tend to be a better buy if they are at the bottom.
The last l heard was there was a ban on collection for 2 yrs, but that was only rumor, but then again l have not seen any for sale fore quite sometime.

Excuse my ignorance Boots but how does a ban on collection affect Australia? H. zebra is not importable is it?

Seems like there are a few in Sing Sing at the moment, and Hong Kong has their share also.

:) true true but i think i would even consider spending cash on floating zebras. but i guess thats just as rare!

i hope they allow hypers to be imported, but i guess that process is going to take a couple of years at least!

Was on the for-sale forum of Planet Catfish or Plecofans... Surely there is more than one aquarium shop in HK haha

I swear I dont know why everyone wants a zebra (aside from the monetary gain if they make babies for ya.) Id rather have an Adonis or something a little more speccy... Knat
