My little guy (about 15cm) is having trouble adjusting to pellets, was wondering if anyone here knows much on weaning them off of flakes? Also I feed him insects even now and again and he has no problems with that.

Last year I staved mine for nearly a week, then took straight to hikari floating carni sticks.

Mix the pellets with the flakes maybe and slowly reduce the flakes, or starve it, it wont let itself die. Insects woud lbe a good food source too, just hopefully it doesn't get fixated to them.

Saratogas generally aren't to fussy from my experience.
