Pics attached, its actually a lot of JF, and very nice quality too! Super happy, adds a bit more colour to the tank as the wife says (as fish alone is enough). Hopefully it'll do well.

Trial and error, hope not. My understanding was JF was a plant that most fish wouldn't nibble on.

Thanks guys.

 

So far so good no issues or aggression really.

 

Still hasn't eaten, but isn't losing condition so not too worried - may have to try some feeders this weekend.

Nope, he does seem intersted in the crickets (past diet).

Read on a few arowana forums larger species have been known not to eat for over 4 weeks.

It's Windelov Java Fern which i've seen in Aquotix and Vebas however if you want a bargain it's quite often sold in the PCS auctions (next one is July wink wink).
