I love Rainbowfish. Watching the male parkinsoni in my tank, he has really coloured up and looks to be showing off for the girls. I'm not great at photos, but here is a pic of the male:

And a video:

I had a good chat to someone I respect a lot (especially when it comes to Rainbowfish) about the praecox Rainbowfish available here, and he is of the belief that they are hybrids, not true praecox. Whether that is the case or not, they are some nice looking fish. I'm probably going to get threadfin Rainbowfish and some more nigriventris catfish as my next fish purchase. Rainbowfish are the perfect community or display fish.

Interesting...

Thread fins are nice... Seen any around?
I want to use rainbows, peppermint bn's and some gobies for my next little project... Just got to get some gobies of some sort.

Yeah Aquotix have threadfins for sale at the moment. They are very small fish which require a lot of swimming space if you want to see their true beauty, so can be a bit of a pain if you like keeping bigger fish.

I've never owned peppies. I saw a group that Kleinz had, and they were some nice looking catfish.
