After nearly 2 years away from keeping fish (I needed a break after 20yrs) I decided to get a small tank. But that soon changed when I got offered a bargain.
So 2x 6ft tanks later Ive decided to start my fish room up again.

SO it begins......

I had to clear the shed of all the crap we have accumulated in the past 2yrs and redo the walls with polystyrene, I also wanted to seal the shed with silicone so water form the veggie garden didn't creep inside..

Had to ask the tenants to kindly remove themselves from the shed as their lease was up =]

Once the polystyrene was up I wanted it to look a little better than the grubby old foam like Ive had before .

Ive got a massive roll of shade-cloth, so that's what I used. Came up alright and took away the brightness in the shed.

Bring on the auction!!!! so I can fill the 2 tanks.

I have plans to build a rack around the other walls of the shed, possibly 3 rows high all 2ft tanks. But that wont come for a little while yet.

Hahaha freakshow! You know me too well!!! :/

Definatly malawis malawiman85.
I've kept many many fish over the years (List is on here somewhere) but have always had a soft spot for Malawis.
Haha yes it became an addiction that's for sure.
Working 5 days at pet shop and then 2 days at home on all the tanks I had.
Something had to give. So now I don't work at a pet shop I can relax and keep fish again.

Have in mind around 20 tanks at this stage. Will have to measure it up properly and start building the racks.

Thanks bud.

More than likely just Malawi's as they have been a fav for many years.

Unless some really nice Firemouths pop up.

But you never know, it  depends on what I see at the shops :) I saw some real nice Texas at Aquotix last time I was there. Was tempting.

I did have plenty of plans this year, but my job is coming to an end and all mother jobs I can find atm are a WHOLE lot less than what I'm getting atm. So might not be getting things up and running as planned :(

I was going to start up breeding again, trying to get some more harder to get Malawi's around the place.

Thanks bud, good to be back. Just wish there was some of the old breeders still around.

Here's the Fronts I bought.

Yea, Wash pad supervisor, the company is playing "Game of thrones" and as a result is closing down to "oust" one of the owners and as a result of that,  all the workers were made redundant. Approx. 200 workers out of a job in June!

Anyhoo..... Something a little more cheerful...

Its a Aulonocara maulana - Bi Color 500, I got a batch in for a guy a couple of years back, when I got back into the hobby he offered them to me. I couldnt resist :) I have bred them a few times but they are VERY slow growing.
