From personal experiences in the past clown loaches and tandanus catfish are very good pest control for small snails. Note they both grow very large so be prepared for that.

Welcome to the forum. Your Lei is a cute little bugger. I wonder how long it will be a community tank for though.

I hope the sharks grow faster, but I fear they will eventually become food, I'm running off the old "if they grow up together, they'll live together" philosophy. But I will probably end up selling them before they become food. Overall plan was to get peacock bass, but I didn't want to risk the injury to my Leichardti I've always wanted one now that I do, I don't want anything to happen to him... Especially seeing as I bought the fish tank specifically for him

200 still thinking about a show fish, was thinking a few discus and alot more plants.

As for the 800, the terracotta is temporary, I'm looking for a hollow wood feature for the centre and a couple of rocks... Fill in with plants accordingly.
