These are compared to the UP Aqua Z Lights as the same or better in output and compact nature - allowing you to insert a number fo these units inside hoods
They run cooler that most LEDs on the market, and they are not being over powered (like many are - 24volts input where 12 is supposed to be used) so the LEDs will last for years, not months.....
Aussies standrds transformers - easily removeable (via 3.5mm jacks) in case they ever fail.
The output is greater than T8 or T5 lighting, and being compact, you can put more of them on top of the tank.
These are our long term replacement for T8 and T5 Tube lighting.

They come as clip on from 21cm to 36cm and in tank end mounted from 18" (45cm) to 5' (150cm).
