Con I'll give that a go. I've got my driftwood stacked at the back out of the way.
Johno, it could be a water issue now, after I followed your last piece of advice saying to feed them up hahaha!
Riggers, how's that variety working out for you? smile.gif

Add 10 to an IBC with plenty of caves.
Feed every day whatever food you have near.
Do a water change once every 3 months or so.

After a year the sides look like this

That was straight after a water change. Every single cave had a male guarding eggs or fry.

The next question... what the hell do I do with them all?! unsure.gif

Undergravel with 2 airlifts.
And course natural gravel from Vebas.
There was a 1m2f trio and 7 others ~5cm

Well I know everyone has been waiting for an update on this...ha!

I took a bit of everyone's advice and applied it to my tank, here's what it did since I last posted:

- Rearranged the driftwood and sponge filter into the middle of the tank, 2 caves one side, 1 on the other
- big water change and gravel vac (there was heaps of turds in there from johnno's last piece of advice to feed them up!)
-feed lots and lots. Then feed some more

Looked in there tonight to find a male furiously fanning a clutch of eggs. Finally...

Although I think it's probably more to do with the current Perth weather then anything I did :-)

cheers ,
Con.
