With tetras and a betta you're pretty much where you want to be with stock.

If you want algae maintenance get a snail. If you just want something extra look at kuhli loaches or Pygmy cories, but the tank is still a little small for them.

Hi Spiesie,

I think that 35 litres is too small for L Numbers

Yip :D I think we have concluded that L numbers are not to go into the 35 litre tank.

Options are Ottos or snails :D

Ottos are pretty cool little things. So are mystery snails.

I love Otocinclus catfish. Just make sure they are going in to a mature fish tank. Good algae cleaners.

Minimum tank size 30 gallon - 113 litres :D

Seems a bit excessive for a 5cm fish lol

Oto's are a Loricariidae catfish, they just haven't been given a "L" number, but they still are a "L" catfish. Therefore your tank isn't to small for a L number. Lol. I had a planted tank a few years ago with Oto's, I came home one day too hundreds of the smallest catfish fry I have ever seen! The few I have now are the grown up fry from them:) so if they are happy they will breed for you:) I think a couple of Oto's would be better on the filter than mystery snails, as mystery snails get quiet large.
