Those wanting to have your input in relation to biosecurity you can do so using the link below. Takes 10-15 mins and I've done mine!

Dear biosecurity stakeholder
Just a brief reminder to have your say on biosecurity in WA via the Biosecurity Councils online questionnaire before 8am Monday 23 June 2014 we hope that you are able to take part.
To those that have completed the questionnaire thank you very much.
We anticipate the results to be available in early August.

Subject: Biosecurity survey - Biosecurity Council of WA

Dear biosecurity stakeholder

The Biosecurity Council of Western Australia is investigating the delivery of biosecurity activities across the State. In particular, we are hoping to bring together the views of key stakeholders from across industry, government and community to help develop an agreed and common understanding of roles, responsibilities and principles that underpin an effective biosecurity system for Western Australia.

The Biosecurity Council is a specialist advisory group to the Minister for Agriculture and Food and the Director General of the Department of Agriculture and Food. It is our role to provide advice on biosecurity-related matters. We also provide advice to other Ministers, if necessary.

To help us develop advice that considers the views of a wide range of biosecurity stakeholders, we have developed an online questionnaire that we hope you are able to complete.

The information you provide will form the basis of the Councils advice to the State Government. We believe the information will provide a strong foundation for the development of important biosecurity-related policy. As such, we feel that it is of the utmost importance for your views to be identified, recognised and understood.

To have your say, you can access the questionnaire from the following website: https://www.surveymo...curityCouncilWA

The survey will be open for two weeks until 8 am Monday 23 June 2014, and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

If you would like a copy of the results, there is the opportunity to enter your email or postal address at the end of the questionnaire.

I hope that you are able to take part in this important work.

Feel free to forward this email to others within your organisation/group with an interest in Western Australias biosecurity.

Kind regards
Rebecca Heath, Executive Officer on behalf of

E/Prof. Alan Robson
CHAIRMAN
Biosecurity Council of Western Australia

Done! You can't complain about the process if you haven't tried to improve it first. It does not take long guys.

Yesterday I got a phone call from a survey company. Weird since I have a private number which is on the do not call register.
I did the survey anyway, and it turns out that the survey was on behalf of the department of fisheries.
