My name's Henry. All my life I had difficulty keeping fish, even goldy's which is quite amusing really. This year I started reading up, learnt about the ammonia/nitrate/nitrite cycle hehe and now have owned a 2ft, 60L with 7 danio's to start with 1 year ago. 3 passed away during cycle but the surviving 4 are still with me in my new 3 footer - 130L =)
My 2ft
I have started with (excuse the common names):
- 4 danios (1 zebra, 3 pinky's) (3cm, 1 year)
- 1 silver shark or something like that (6cm)
- 1 bristlenose catfish (11cm)
Got these with the purchase of my 3 ft.
- 6 Neon tetras
- 2 Clown loaches (Cleaned up the Malaysian trumpet snail invasion)
They all seem happy atm =D
I'm also starting a pico tank as a present for my girl. Very new to planting, Going to give it a go!
My pico (1 day)
The forums have been my encylopedia! Everything I need to know is on here.
Great forum guys, love it and can't wait to learn more
Cheers
Henry

Good luck with them and remember there are a number of very good fish shops around where the staff are a great help and you can always check here to if you have any problems.

So much too read on this forum. Great info!

Couldn't get much or any pics of the female. She's very active so the pics just turn out as blurs

haha thanks. It's pretty big to me but yes I've seen a few large setups and would love to get a larger tank or more. But I haven't got space. I'm sure that's the case for a lot of the fish lovers out there
