Hi guys,

I am in the process of stripping down my tank over the next few days.  It is completely over grown with Anubis, crypts and few others.

The issue is during the rebuild period, approx. 2 weeks, I hope to relocate some of the plants to the bath tub.  I can transfer the lights and co2 but my heater is not sufficient to cover the tub water capacity.

My question is what is the lowest temp I can get away in Perth for the plants.

My fish will be relocated to a smaller heated tank, no room for plants.

Cheers,

thanks

Cumar.

I don't know about the minimum temp that your plants would handle, but if you don't have a spare tank for the plants to sit in, and it's only a couple of weeks, I would put them in a tub (with a lid) and make sure the container is off the floor so it doesn't get too cold. You'll find a lot of the plants will die back, but should pick up once replanted and settled in.
