Just going through some old pics. Took these in melbourne. Cant remember what shop it was at.

Truly impressive specimen. From memory the owner told me the fish was still quite young ~3years old. Apparently it's broken the owners fingers before.

only 3 years old? man mine will be no where no that size lol. my male is a bit over a year old and just under 25cm

This thing was in a 10ft tank solo. at a guess id say it was ~65cm. massive unit.

Wow! thanks for sharing.
Incredible specimen indeed.
My biggest is approaching 17cm and about 9/10 months old.
Got him at 45mm 5 months ago, now he's 165mm
I reckon he's growing even faster now though :-)

That was one of the most impressive cichlids i've ever seen. Alot of personality and colour.

65cm is huge, that would of been so impressive to see in person
