Hey Guys, just chasing some info from anyone who has built a big tank for their tank busters?

I currently have a shed that I have a 6x2x2 in for a saratoga, hopefully soon to be peacock bass and a FW ray.

to do all these fish justice, I want to give them a 8 x 3 x 3. problem is cant get one around the back of my house and through the shed door.

getting the glass is not a problem, im just after some advise on building one and if anyone has had a go at building one in the past?

silicone some edges together and bango! huge tank?

is it really that easy??? don't really want to come out the following day or come home from work and have a few hundred bucks of fish dried out on the floor!

Try contacting Seaview Aquariums and ask if they can construct on site.

You could have the stand made first and then they could bring in all of the components flat packed and build it in your shed.

Its worth a try.

Just a possible option.
If you found a second hand tank,, it would save you a lot of money to begin with.

If you you had a conventional steel sheet shed,,, you could unscrew part of the roof of.
You could have a crane with a long reach similar to ones used in building or pools, and lift over house into the shed on a harness.
At a guess it would cost you $600 max.
Only worth doing with a second hand tank,
