Vebas has a little nano tank in the shop with a little clown fish and I love it. By far one of my favourite tanks. I have never had salt water but will continue dreaming to so I don't know of costs. Roughly how much would it cost to set up a little bad boy like the one at vebas?

Yea that one is cool. Although the one at vebas as coral covering the all of the ground. And I mean all of the ground and that's what makes it such a cool tank

Hello Michael,

See my current Journal on a 34L Nano Marine.

http://www.perthcich...showtopic=57112

Short story is mine cost about $800.

That Nano at Vebas has been running for at least 5 years, has been well looked after, so it looks fantastic.

Also they have backup for thge really hot days, so you get to see a Nano in perfect condition.

Finally the amount of coral in the tank is huge and that will probably cost quite alot.

Regards,

Leif.

Leif
Wow your tank looks amazing well done :o
Have been tossing up between a planted nano or marine nano. Marine seems like o much effort with an amazing result where as planted wouldn't require as much effort and $$$$
Thanks for your help. I think that one day I'll do one when I'm not in year 12 only working one day a week.
Keep up the good journal is awesome and I love your tank.

Thanks
Michael

Yeah leif's is awesome!

A planted nano would be awesome too, & I'd assume quite a bit cheaper haha

Yes you need a bit of disposable income for a marine tank. Unless that is your main hobby.

Try a nano fresh water tank. You can get the same tank as mine but for fresh, get a mini CO2 setup and your pretty much done. There would be less chances of errors and you can get the plants you want.

Am think about a 14L setup for a Betta that is planted.
