Hello
Has anyone used this stuff to make their own dechlorinator?
I've had a quick look online and 1kg of this stuff is probably overkill but just wondering if it's simple, safe and effective to use?

I have used it at a shrimp hatchery where cheap plastic measuring flasks were disinfected using chlorine. It was also used to neutralized chlorine that was previously added to 9 tonnes plastic tanks for outdoor algal culture. It is really safe if used in the right amount.

You will still need something to bind heavy metals. I just use API Tap Water Conditioner these days as it's pretty damn concentrated and cheap.

I've heard of a guy on the US forums using it - no issues. Seachem prime or safe seems so popular that I've not seen much else used.

I love Prime. Good for water changes and managing ammo/nitrite spikes.
Pretty economical too.
