In order to avoid confusion and so people know what they can and cannot post on this forum, the PCS has created a list of fish we consider hybrids. Other commonly available fish (marbled or OB peacock, tangerine peacock, dragonblood) are currently being investigated as to their status as hybrids. This is not a quick process so please be patient. Anyone with evidence relating to the matter please forward it onto the commitee.

The following fish are affected by point 7 of the T&C (link)

Blood Red Parrot
Jelly Bean Parrot
Red Texas (Red Devil x Texas Cichlid)
Flowerhorn
"Marbled" or "OB" Dimidiochromis Compressiceps

This does not mean that anything not mentioned is permissible. This is a guideline as to the fish that have a common name that we consider hybrids.

To clarify, the following is permissible, no matter what the fish is:

- posting a photo in order to ID the fish
- posting a photo of a sick fish in order to get help
