Hello ^^

I bought this guy in an assorted cichlid tank at pet magic and was wondering what Tropheus he is? Thanks. :)

Here is a video of him, sorry for bad quality -

Hard to tell based on this video because of the water reflection . Could you describe him in detail and perhaps take a close up photo? Btw It looks very stressed to me...

Sure, he is black with it almost looks like pale yellowy bits on his scales in the middle but I could be imagining it, he is mostly just blackish brown. Nah he isn't stressed, he is swimming like that because I was about to feed them.

Here is photos - http://puu.sh/o1UjR/c5e2fb28f9.jpg http://puu.sh/o1UkB/623c63c2af.jpgonly had him for a few days now.

Thanks for your help!

could be anything

but my guess is an old male Bulu Pt/Kirschfleck or Bemba pulled from an adult colony due to be on the losing end of too much mouth locking with another dude.

if it is really a yellow tinge rather than orange maybe something else... Ikola?

I cannot clearly identify it. I also don't see much of the yellow bits as you describe it . Ikola would be easy to identify with yellow coloration and eyes colour . Bulu Point would have two red patches ... Bemba would be orange ... No idea what this one could be .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did you end up ID-ing this fellow when he settled down and got happy?
