hello everyone i am aish ...
ive been caring for fish since i was a little girl i have 7 4000L ponds and 12 other tanks at the moment .. my love is catfish and i collect them when funds let me ... i make my own filtration and at the moment i am designing a water treatment plant for my self with an evaporator as well, i also make aquarium furniture from clay and i also make mock corals .. my big dream is to have Lung fish, arapaima, and Arowana ... they tell me dreams can come true <3
nice to be a part of your club .. i have a brother in Perth and will be coming there often and hope to get to some meetings there.

Welcome Aisha, does the climate in cairns allow for outdoor keeping of fish all year? Would be nice to be able to grow cichlids outdoors in 4000L ponds

Thanks so much Cawdor .. yes we can have our fish out side all year around .. my friend and mentor has a lot of ponds out side with Africans in them and she dose very well.

That's awesome, the winters here get a bit too cold to allow that unfortunately. Feel free to post some photos of your setups in our photo section

Welcome to the PCS. Ode to have the weather that you do. But if we did the government would probably ban all cichlids in this state

Where abouts are you in Far North Queensland as i worked up in Weipa for 6 months a few years back.
