looks good, is the low water level just a temp thing?

Hi Angelo,

Yes it is, I am planning to add some black contact to the back of the tank and will build a hood to cover the water line once I have another project out of the way.

Very cool! I got a setup for my EY's but they still so scared. So I am waiting a while before I take the photos.

Mine are acting the same even though they've only been moved a good 10ft.

I moved my tank around again so now they are hiding more again, my brother said they can take weeks to be happy and not scared. I thought Discus were bad.

Do they need to do lots of digging and constructing to make themselves happy?

I find a good feeding of bloodworms usually gets them out and about for a while.
I haven't noticed much digging nor construction, Mine are currently gasping due to an ammo spike :(
Are you catering to a colony or some displays?
Mind uploading a flick or two of the tank?

Cheers

I have kinda of a Display, I was trying to do a Planted tank, so i am waiting for it to grow out a bit before I do a photo. The EY's are on one side and can dig to their hearts' content.

The plants are all on the ohter side. This is my first attempt at planted, so far i think I should have down a lot more research. All good.

Sounds quite cool.
The only problem I can see is EY eating some plants here and there.

Fill it up Matty :) that's almost quarter of your tank empty.
