Life Span: 10 years

Breeding: Mouth Brooder
Males are gold with black bars and highlights at fins and tail and with light blue stripes at their forehead. Females are gray with black bars and highlights at fins and tail. Females will hold 25-30 fry for 21-28 days.

Feeding Habits: Herbivore
Eats mainly veggie based foods. Be careful not to feed them fatty foods like blood worms or beef heart as these may cause bloat.

Compatibility: Moderately Aggressive
Keep one male to five females with other moderately aggressive mbuna. Also does well with Synodontis Catfish.
