Scientific Name: Copadichromis virginalis
Pronunciation: Co-pad-e-chro-mis vir-gin-ar-liss
Trade Name(s): None
Distribution: Lupingu, Manda & Higga Reef
Habitat: Rocky & sandy areas
Diet: Plankton & invertebrates
Sexing: Males have a black body with a white blaze over the dorsal.
Females are silver.
Maximum Size: 13cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Rarely Available in Oz.
Comments: These could be confused with Copadichromis trewavasae when young, so beware when buying juvies.
