Scientific Name: Copadichromis trewavasae
Pronunciation: Co-pad-e-chro-mis tree-wav-sae
Trade Name(s): None
Distribution: Likoma & Chizumulu Islands and from Msisi to Manda a small population occurs at Cobue & Mozambique.
Habitat: Rocky & sandy areas
Diet: Plankton & invertebrates
Sexing: Males are spectacular with a two tone body, Bottom half is black and the top half is blue/white.
Females are silver with 3 black dots through the body.
Maximum Size: 15cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Rarely Available in Oz.
Comments: One of the most brilliantly colored Copad's, they are available now & then, but are usually snapped up very quickly.
