Yeah, that's my second monitor, I was commenting on peoples posts and getting ready for my Marine Post. I decided not to crop the photo so you can see where the tank is and how big it is.

Hello Ladies and Gents, Just an update on my tank.

I went on a 2 week holiday which I like to think as the biggest test to a tank, you can get. It was left in charge to a housesitter (I organised my brother to do the weekly WC) and the housesitter only fed the fish.

Yes, it is still running, just not as brilliant as I would like, some of the corals are dieing off, but I will do a big cleanup to clear debris and get the tank back running nicely again.

Big learning curve this tank. The fish are still happy, it's the corals that are hard to look after. Frogspawn coral is going really well.

I will try to remember to take a photo so you can see the comparison of tank not running so well. Which is something you don't usaully get to see. :)

Edit: The purple coraline stuff appears to be growing well in the tank though, so I think that is a good sign

The coralline algae growing well is an indicator of your calcium and alk being in a good range......
