my pond has goldies, tadpoles and i also put in naughty fish from my aquarium that are eating or harrassing other fish . i am amazed by the fish that have survived all year in there. phantom tetra, widow tetra, mollies, algae eaters and the rosy barb gang are now breeding in there. my pond isn't heated and smaller than yours it just has a standard pond pump/filter. i have water lillies and other plants so there are hiding places.

Hey bro I was thinking some king sized oscars... laugh.gif
Seriously though a few of the crew on the site here grow out cichlids in outdoor ponds during the summer months...as long as they are not big enough to eat your goldies should be good as gold...not sure how they catch em out at the end of summer though...maybe small hook, line and earthworms?? smile.gif
