Livestock
Name: red fin perch
Size: juvenile
Number 4-6
Sex: doesn't matter don't want to breed them
Price or a ballpark figure: you tell me.

ive done research on these guys and know they are an introduced pest, but they are only class 2 so i can keep them, just cant transport into the state without written permission, from fisheries authorities
cheers
Corey

As I recall, you can't even legally transport them. Putting one in a bag with water in it and moving it to a new home would probably be a nono.

You will have to catch some, they are in the Murray river system, also other areas, check fisheries website.

Simply wait till nightfall then walk along the bank with a torch and net them out.

It's illegal to return them to the water. There is no bag limit you can catch as many as u like.

You are supposed to have a freshwater fishing license though.

Didn't know you could net them. They absolutely hammer lures, though. Lots of the big dams are chockers with them.

Well legally you can only use a landing net, and your not supposed to use it to catch fish, but it's the only type of net thats legal on the banks of a river.

Make sure you have your FW Fishing Licence and A Rod too.

You need a freshwater fishing licence to do ANYTHING in freshwater.
