Well I've finished my journal for the Biotope comp tank, and have now added some young julidochromis to the tank. Thread for Biotope tank here: http://www.perthcich...showtopic=62983
Before I go looking for other fish to add to the tank, I would like some suggestions for one or more additions to the tank. I was thinking maybe some small synodontis or some comps/calvus. Thoughts? The tank is a 4 footer (about 250 litre), and currently has 4 small Julie's and 2 adult brichardi (and fry).

To be honest I think the brichardis will dominate any cichlid you put with them as they have fry but synos should be ok , comps and cals are to timid

Yeah I think you're right. About 10 minutes after my initial post, I sat in front of the tank and looked at the fish for about 15 minutes, maybe longer. The Julie's were hanging around the far right side, and were attacked from time to time by the adult brichardi. I might have to get another tank for the julies. Yep I agree synods would be worth a go. I'll get some small synodontis catfish and see how they go. At least if they get bashed I can put them in another tank.
