There was some really species to see, Some old skool ones that people should grab and breed before they are lost :(
I was really impressed with the quality and selection, Thanks again boys for letting me hold the fish there.
If I get some fry, I'll throw some your way, and I owe you a beer or two Ollie ;)

Get your butt's to Aquotix for some really cool stuff.

Ok. Those maylandia are one of my fav Mbunas.

A 120x36x46 wouldn't be big enough for any Malawi preds would it?

Aquotix barlowi pic, as requested.

I think the hajomaylandi are metriaclima, aren't they? And the neon rainbows- I always understood them to be melanotaenia praecox. I could be wrong though, as names change.

Anyways, some nice pix of some nice fish there. :)

Was good to have a chin wag Az. Your camera phone beats mine .

1. The Nimbos are livingstoni not polystigma

2. They are Melanotaenia not Dementia praecox. Dementia is my inability to remember everything I'm told :P

3. The barlowi were in the tank next to (on the left) of the tank full of hajos

M. barlowi are and I can't believe I'm saying this... A personal favourite Malawi Cichlid of mine. (Yes I admitted to liking a cichlid :P )

Here's a nice pic of one of them in the wild.

barlowi.jpg

Back when I kept them we had an ok digital camera. It was 1.3megapixels. Lets say it was more than 10 years ago ;) I have pics somewhere but they're not great.

Not long term. :( but it's a good reason to buy them and buy a bigger tank a little later.

You gotta be desperate to drink the can of domestic violence!

Lol, I prefer JD's ;) thanks for those.

I'm still out of it when it comes to the name changes, it's been awhile ;)

Ahh shit they are too, you had polys there somewhere, I'm sure of it :/

Maybe I have a touch of dementia too lol

Damm, should've had a better look.

Only difference is that the Barlowi don't get black fins. :P
Ok nice knowing you all... I am now about to get booted into next week by Malawi fanatics. Haha :P

Just kidding, Mbunas are nice. Especially demasoni and maylandia.

Still prefer Americans, although I like Malawi predators the same as Americans if that makes sense.
