Hi guys,

Has anyone used a high quality Acrylic Tank before?

I don’t mean those cheap imports you can get online.. But a good quality product? I have found this website and will ask for the price for an 8x3x3. http://www.reefscape.com.au/Acrylic_Aquariums.html

Anyone had any experience with this? Please share.

Cheers

Alem

Got a reply today. The company is now only making large display aquariums.

The website has not been updated.

Shame I really like the designs.

It is cheaper to go 19mm glass for an 8x3x3 rather than acrylic - anything at or above 1.5m high is worth making out of acrylic - Glass cant cope at that height.....

If you have a size in mind, I can quote up both - glass or acrylic....

Mr_docfish - I'm after a 8x3x3 or 8x2.5x2.5

I was offered a deal with a guy to build me a 8x3x3 in exchange for a new website but didn't work out :(

I just realized you from Aquotix. I called the other day and was going to come to the store when I get back home.

Your 7x30x32 looks good - how much would this cost with the stand?

When Im back at work, Ill quote up the tanks for you - as for the cabinets - it will vary depending on the design and supplier - best yo come into the shop to look at the designs and get a quote at the time - the tank prices wont be much different....

Ill PM you when Ive done the wuote for you

Cheers
Oliver

While this thread is up might as well see what we can find together in the Acrylic Aquarium world.

After the guys at ReefScape told me they were not doing these – they also suggested contacting builders in USA.

This is one website I found which offers what I was after. However they do not ship outside of USA. L

The website only shows rubbish imaging and I asked for a real image. They sent me a link of one of their tanks being used… It looks great…

See if anyone else can find something else…
