See photo' of our 60x18Wx26H inch planted tank slowly converting it to mainly Rainbows.

90% Of the plants are sown onto bogwood or rocks with fishing line.

Top work Col. Tank looks great. Is your BGK in this tank? Are you still searching for pellets? Mind giving us a plant list.
( to save me guessing)
cheers

Yes, the BGK is still in there, getting bigger each time I see him tongue.gif and yes, still after some carnivorous pellets.

Plants :- 90% are Java Fern (Microsorum pteropus ) Just added 5 x Microsorum pteropus 'Tropica'

http://www.tropica.d...d_1.asp?id=008B

There are a few Anubia nana, and a few swords.

I am hoping that with the new T5 lights I will be able to grow more species.

Hi , I'm really interested in the way you have set up your planted tank. I reckon it looks unreal.

**edited**

Anyway congrats on an awesome aquarium, and thanks for putting up the photo's. Hope you don't mind the annoying questions.

Paul.

G'day Paul,

Since the last photo I have given the tank a face-lift. The main difference is that I have added the Aponogeton hybrid (Thanks Oliver) which has improved the tank heaps. IMO.

Next time I do maintenance on it I will remove the Amazon Swords and the other "High Light" plants that are not going good.

I do not use any Co2, the lights are 4 x 28 watt 4ft T5's. which are on for 10 hours per day. As I use 100% rainwater I add Seachem Flourish each week to add nutrients.

Hope you like the new look.

Col
