I got home tonight to find my recently bought L. trewavsae have spawned and so have my F1 A. koningsi, But I will let the A. koningsi keep her eggs as she is only small and it's her first batch. But very stoked that there is a female in the tank and she will spawn...
The L. trewavasae are great looking fish Male Blue & OB Female, But I do have 1 OB male which is stunning.
Will try and get some pics soon.
Just looking at tank now and the dominate male L. trewavasae is trying to get his thing on with another female.... "happy happy joy joy"

Yes Dazza, they are Pseudotropheus sp. elongatus Mphanga F1, Great fish with attitude but not highly agro.

What locality are your L. trewavasae from? Hard to find locality specific forms here and I suspect that most of them are crosses of all the various geopgraphical variants and become one mixed up fish. A colony was recently offered on the forum here recently by Dave and I was going to get them but they didn't have much red in the dorsals.
I have been looking for the ones with the solid red dorsals ("Maleri" or "Zimbawe" I think) but can't find any. If any turn up at Midland please let me know and it will be worth the drive.

Im not sure what location they are. I bought them from A.I. I would say you were correct in saying that they would all be line bred into one.
I havent seen any "true" labs for many years.
