Diet: Piscivore (Mainly fish)
Sexing: Males have a bluish head with a yellow body.
Females are silver with the juvenile band running form the top of the head to the caudal.
Maximum Size: 40cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Available in Oz. I have bred this species and it can be difficult to see the holding females as they hide the fry deep in the throat. The fry are very slow growing.
