Hi there,
I was just wondering if any experts out there know around what age/size peppermint bristlenose's gender can be determined by feeling the tip of their nose? I have an 8cm with a squishy nose so I'm calling male on that one but I'm looking at buying some 5-6cm peppies and would like to maximise my chance of having some females in the mix.

TIA :)

only if youre very good at it... not so much tip of nose rather top of nose... need good eyes and a good sense of feel at 5-6cm....

best chance of having some females is to buy as many as you can afford and grow them up till you can sex them 100%...

i would buy some of the bigger ones in the group and also some of the smaller ones if they are from same spawn....
