Hello everyone!

I'm looking at buying a cichlid tank, there are only two cichlids in it.

I would like to know the species/ genders if possible before buying the aquarium so I can do my research on them.

Also if anyone can point me in the direction of cichlid keeping info would be much appreciated as I'm new to them, although not new to fish keeping haha

Yeah looks like Nimbochromis...but possibly leaning towards venustus over polystigma just purely by the body patterning... please correct me if I am wrong.

Probably a female venustus, although I have little to no idea about Malawi and tang cichlids.
