Hi guys I'm having trouble breeding these guys they have had two mouthfuls but swallow them on both occasions I've let her hold in the breeding tank and taken them out and on both occasions within two days she swallows any help would be great as I fear my females may not last with the constant chasing

Add hidey holes and be patient - I use a heap of plastic plants and let them float around the surface of the water when letting females hold in the same tank as males when breeding territorial fish like Mbuna that stake claims over rock structures. Vic haps can be very similar in that behaviour

If they're young mothers they may need some time to develop stronger maternal instincts. stress from aggressive males or relocating the mothers to new quarters with no place to hide may be contributing to why they won't hold at the moment.
