A friend of mine bought a tank and had these little lobster type things and some little shrimp. Not sure exactly what they are. I took some crappy iPhone pics, hopefully someone might know what they are.

The photos of the shrimp are not very good, they have red and whit spots on the body and a red band around the claws.

I don't know. Maybe a Pistol Shrimp. I think you might need to podt the photos on masa.asn.au website.

the shrimp are boxer shrimp, god knows what them other things are, probably some sort of live rock hitchhiker.

definetly not a pistol/mantis shrimp, looks more lobster, cray like as you say.

Yes, they look like baby crays to me too. Grow them up and then eat them, win, win.

Looks like crayfish to me as well. Fisheries will be after those saltwater shrimp  :P

if they are crayfish then fisheries will be after you for not having a permit to farm them hahaha

Haha crazy fisheries, maybe they should go down fremantle and do some work, I was there not long ago but the idiots keeping undersize fish were annoying me so I wasn't there long
