Dunno if there is any way of decreasing the flow of those jets? But From personal experience I found the Jardini will much prefer less current. Maybe spray bars might do the trick? Just a suggestion though, its your tank smile.gif

Give it a go. I think with a bit less current you'll find it cruising round alot closer to the surface.

Got the canister thanks. Might even start my own journal.... Stripped the back of the tank and painted it black tonight. Dunno who paints the back of a tank blue... But anyway! It's done and its looking good!

Go for it man , start a journal . I'm keen to see the aqua scaping . I've got some nice big bits of golden vine and lava rock for this tank ...... I'm just waiting for the moon sand to arive . Thinking about some tinfoil barbs or flag tails as some schooling fish but don't know of any flag tails around . Not keen on the silver dollars ....... Any suggestions

Check Vebas for flagrails?

The last two times I've been down they had some in the far right corner. 10cm and $75 "from memory"? Might not be exact as it was a little while ago.

But are you wiling to put $1000 dollars on it haha.

Should be fine as long as there is no gaps for one to shoot out of the tank and hit the floor.....

It is quiet a big tank, with quiet large fish.

If you look at smaller aquairiums I can gaurentee that quiet regularly the size of fish/size of aquarium would be the same.

I was thinking the other day what an artificial substrate would look like. I guess you would have to create one first.

I think with a big enough tank "so as your not worried about taking up precious swimming space" it could be constructed and look quiet pleasing to the eye. Also then not having to worry about build up in the substrate.

Might give it a go one day.
