Hi. I have a 6x2x2 tank. Currently is running with a sump setup. I'd rather switch it over to a canister filter. Any suggestions on what size I would need please. Thanks.

Bigger the better.

I run an eheim 2260 on my 6x2x2 and it keeps my water crystal clear. They fit the most amount of media than any other cannister on the market.

Pricey but if you were to run a single cannister on that size tank this would be my pick.

For the price and running costs you could buy 2 mid size mid price filters that give you extra piece of mind in the event of failure.

AquaOne Nautilus 2700 is a big canister that is about half the price of 2260.

Not disagreeing with previous post... just throwing out some other options.
