If Iain becomes a cross dresser I will send you his numbe :P

LittleIBig: It would be my first large Marine. I am currently running a Nano Marine. I post more about that than my Discus tank.

I like the community here much more than MASA.

Hi guys,

thanks fo the quick responses, i porbably shoulve added, iv had a couple 4 foot tanks with green terrors, and a 6x18x18 with a jd before. but nothing anywhere near the 8 foot. will be all a new experience and learning along the way, as i will be sumping it (never had a sump before either). im hoping to have this tank for a while so the initial cost will in some way not bother me. another reason, for the sump is to be able to do marine is that bug bites later on :)

malawiman, i would love some TBs but you know what they say, happy wife happy life :D

Im in the process of setting up and rescapping an existing 10 footer with a sump. Drop me a line if you have any questions.

Take a look at a few of my posts for pics of my tank. It may give you a few ideas too.

Welcome to the forum.
