Was my first Auction. Seems like the attendance was pretty good.
There was so many bargains. And then there was crazy prices for guppy's!! I didn't realize people would pay so much for them, must be really rare?? I think 2 pairs of one specie went for $90!
Anyways, was good fun, Roast beef rolls was a winner

the old saying you snooze you lose - is pretty applicable here... normal price is $300 for one or you can get 4 x 007s for a grand....
one must add the guppies that went for top dollar were stunning and arent the easiest guppy to breed in any sort of quantity... they self cull the young ones

yeah probally my 10 bag of lemon catfish I bought but mysteriously disappeared when I went to pay for my lots
Not happy ...... surely the person who got them would realise they were not his/her when they got home and putting there other lots into tanks
always thought fish keepers were a good honest bunch .... 99.9% are........ just a few make the good people look bad

next auction is August and then November hope to see you at both if you plan to buy a lot don't forget you pay a % being a non PCS member you can join PCS for a lowly sum of $25 per year or a concession price of $15 and there are family me memberships as well
The auction loading is not the only thing you get by becoming a member there are also advantages of entering Comps and don't forget the Xmas Function is entirely free for members and there families
Cheers
