Hi all,

The June meeting will be an auction.....Tuesday the 7th and in preparation I would like to start taking bookings for lots.

The doors will open at 7pm to start processing lots and the auction will start at 8.15pm.
PLS note no lots will be accepted into the auction after 8.00pm (pre-booked or not)

PM me or post here and make sure to include the following:
Name - common and scientific, size, number, sex where possible and a reserve if wanted.

* If you Pre book your lots pls be sure to bring exactly what you booked in as it is very time consuming to change the auction list on the night.
* Doors will open at 7pm, please come early with lots so they can be processed before 8.00pm.
* Lots (selling) are only open to Club Members but you can become one on the night. Anyone can bid / buy. General Public are welcome to attend.
* If you have a picture of the actual fish you would like to use for the slide, send it to me with the lot details and I'll have it up when your lot is up for auction.
* Lots will be accepted on the night but would prefer to have them pre-booked before hand so everything runs smoother.
* There is a limit of lots that are brought and booked in on the night which is now 5 per person, hence pre-bookings are encouraged. There is no limit on the number of lots that are pre-booked.
* Fish bagged incorrectly will not be accepted. No sandwich bags or ziplock bags allowed. There will be a $1 charge for the re-bagging of fish
* The pcs takes a 10% commission on all sales at the auction.

Booking will close this Saturday........ would be nice to have 100 lots pre booked by then..( currently 80 something).
Pls remember if you are planning on booking your lots in on the night pls get there early as no lots will be accepted after 8pm.
Also there is a 5 lot maximum that can be booked in on the night.......

Sorry guys - committee just doesn't have the time to organise a BBQ before an auction if it's during the working week.

If a club member wants to and can take on-board the organisation of a BBQ that would be great. If they need anything from committee eg. cash to buy sausages, then let us know and we can see how it is best arranged.
