Hey all,

So my green terror laid eggs last Night and I just put a divider in the tank so an area just has the female and the eggs with nothing else.

I am wanting to know whether I should remove the eggs before they hatch or remove the fry when they hatch.

Thanks

I found it better to remove the fry when free swimming

I always keep the female with the fry. I like to think she is "Imprinting" them.
Never had an issue with doing that way.

Egg layers i leave until there about to wander off, when they hatch they stay together as a tight group (wigglers). This lasts several days, then as they become free swimming there is usually a 24 to 48 hour window period before they start to spread out, it's at this time i siphon them up and put them in a fry saver.

Ok thanks, I read a few articles and they say to get the fry just before they become free swimming, so that's what I'll do
