Thats a beauty, looks okay from the photo's. Bit of TLC and a nice cabinet or install in a wall and you have your self a killer tank. good luck to the buyer, wish it was me.

4 strong guys could lift that.. agreed youd need a flatbed to move it safely, i think the best bet would be strip it, take all silicon off, and redo it.. doubt youd even get the glass for 3k

Ye maybe 10mm up then straight back down that thing would be bloody heavy you would need serious lifting equipment to move that tank anywhere safely.

Cutting the silicone you run the risk of cracking it

I'm sure everyone at the cichlid society would lend a hand if a member bought it, 250 members should be just about able to lift it. laugh.gif Provided you throw on a barbie and a few beers once it's set up.

Nice big tank. Wouldn't be too keen if it had been sitting in the sun for any length of time.

my mate chris if he wa still alive could grab one end and 6or7 people on the other end....
chris was a man mountain... he picked up a complete v8 holden motor of the ground and walked through a doorway and then 5m onto back of a ute... he used to bench press close to 400kg... and squat 500kg and leg press well over a tonne.... he could roll over a car on his own... he was even seen trying to lift a tank in the army... lol....

yes he was he was ukraine/solomon islander... he had a motor bike helmet exemption simply because no-one made a helmet that would fit his head... his head was twice the size of a normal person... and his legs were as thick as a normal persons abdoman... massive guy but only 5 foot 11 inches tall... his gorilla hands are twice the size of anybody elses... he had a note associated with his rego on the police computers... it read something like do not pull over unless you have 20 or more police present!!! his nickname was psycho... and was medically discharged from the army as someone shot him in the back several times... long story and i still dont know what really happened just someone was pissed off with him... so he had an army pension of 50k per year tax free plus was allowed to earn another 20k or so tax free... something was hushed up.... bikies were scared of him.... he was the best debt collector i ever knew...lol... couldnt fit through a normal doorway without turning sideways...
he was about 160kg... and when he trained he was cut at 140kg and coulda won mr universe off ronny coleman easy as i reckon...
still waiting to meet his younger brothers... apparently one is even tougher than him ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif
