It 's looking good.
Keep on eye on your PH it seems to be dropping.
The KH going up with the PH going down?
How big is the Pleco?
Where's the riccia in the tank?

Hey,
The pleco is about 25cm including the tail. Yeh i know its weird the pH is constantly dropping, i just added some geo liquid what else should i do?
The riccia is that light patch in the middle of the tank(on the ground at the front) the rest of it is floating. Anyone have plant cuttings?
thanks
Matt

Matt,

Its 'Normal' for your PH to keep dropping.
This is due to your c02 injection. The more you inject the mroe it drops.

The key is to find a good balance of c02 within your lighting period.
Refer to the c02 chart i passed you, find what kinda PPM your co2 level is at, if its too much, try cutting back on c02. If its too little, push it further despite the low PHs. If you do it gradually it'll be fine. Your KH should buffer the PH levels to a stable level.

When you get your tank up and running, ferts and all, and you're ready for harder plants, i'll be sure to send you heaps, including rare ones.

Cheers,
Jerome

Hey,
I've just changed the tank around again(not finished yet!) as i recieved some plants off Jerome(thank you VERY much!). I also added 4 sterbai cory's to go with my 2 julii's biggrin.gif Also thanks to Graeme for the other plants!
P.S. Please excuse the giant bag of riccia. (will hopefully bring to tomorows meeting)
PPS Used a tripod this time biggrin.gif

Whole tank Pic.

Another whole tank pic, once the micranthemoides is trimmed and the indica fills in behind it in the front right corner will look nice smile.gif
