Just saw this work bench on the Super Cheap Auto website:

Attached File  52 inch workbench.JPG   35.2KB   7 downloads

Would this be suitable for 2 x 2 footers? (24 inch by 12 inch base)

thanks

Whoops didnt put the dimensions up...... probably explains the no replies. Anyway I didnt bother getting it as I wasnt sure, and the boss asked me today to organise a copious amount of shelving for the work shed so Ill explore the options then

I was curious but a little stumped as two tanks. My understanding is mainly the tank rim / edge needs support?

2 tanks as a 24x12 inch would fit 2 side by side with a little bit of extra room so the 2 two footers would sit easily within the dimensions of the bench top

dunno if you could get a single 48x12 inch tank

It’s mainly if you get any bench sag in middle. I think a single large tank would be fine. I’ve heard of either tank just sags a bit in middle or a gap between tank and base. Will see if I can find link.
