Well done for getting some over, haven't seen these guys in years.

 

Will there be more available in the near future? and what prices where they from interest?

For 22cm specimen $115, I am hopefully looking at sourcing more in next week. :)

Wow! Agree with Jules big time! Really stoked to see someone bring in something different.
Im sure I could find a tank for these guys in a hurry.

As soon as I saw the topic I thought about Voodoo... its kinda like watching Jules' painful search for leopard bush fish.

Awesome, I saw a discussion where there were a couple of guys from qld who were finding it hard to source some! Are there many other rarer natives you can get in, such as grunters and mouth almighty?  ^_^

Can't breed one on its lonesome.... Really want to breed them!

Malawiman - lungfish are available year round from Ceratodus (lungfish farm in QLD). They aren't cheap though, seems that everyone that asks for a quote gets a different price. I requested a quote about 12 months ago, think it was about $1200 from memory.

I know they are available but people would head down for a sticky just to see it and im sure some people are put off buying a lungy due to the shipping, etc.
About a year ago I was quoted $1,600 + shipping.
