Any not African suggestions i should do with this........?? was thinking Discus breeding tank ???

Sorry buy I think Tropheus there so active make a great desplay piece.

it would be a nice discus tank...what are the dimensions? looks 2 foot high...but how long & wide though? what is your budget?

36x24x18 budget is whatever and no issue, i like things that are not the norm thats why i dont like africans, they are everywhere. ive got 2 breeding pairs of discus and was thinking of putting one of the pairs in there..?

If money is not a problem, then a planted tank with a nice pair of discus, lots of cardinal tetra's and some L 046's would look mint. cheers steve

nah ...got one of those ..only difference is no L's, and black neon and red phantoms instead of cardinals

...bit of a mess at the moment

I think happy fish has a few different ones , or you could place a wtb ad , they shouldn't be much harder the discuss anyhow

what about a Biotope tank? try and get a breeding pair of rare fish, and do a biotope of their local region? That would be cool
What kind of fish do you like besides discus?

catfish are more boring that watching paint dry, thats why i sold mine! go the active troph's!

tanks to small for tropheus.

Could do angels, apistogramma, throw some tropicals in there.

I disagree 250L I have kept and bred T's in that amount of water without any problem at all.

I would say marine as it's a nice tank. Also would opt for tropheus but anything less than 4ft I'd steer away from them as they need the length to swim about and the ones bring picked on due to there aggression can have adequate space to swim away.
