Hey, does anyone know where I could get a little turtle? Wanted to convert my tank to turtle tank

I've seen them at most pet stores, even Pet City. Sometimes Gumtree too. Usually for $300-$500.

 

However only oblong turtles are commonly available, and they get way too big for most tanks (carapace size 30cm at maximum size), much more suited for a backyard pond. A juvenile turtle would be okay in a tank for a while though. The other two species, Emydura victoriae (25cm max) and Chelodina steindachneri (20cm max), which are both slightly smaller, aren't as common. You might be able to get the former from interstate, while the latter you might be able to find in WA, Reptile Trader in Rockingham has had them in the past.
