Was in midland aquarium today and saw 2 Raphael catfish both small about 3-5cm hard to tell in the pipe that had.

$35 each thinking of buying them, anyone had any awesome/not so awesome experience or stories with these dudes? Had a quick look on the web at them they look amazing when grown.
Would go in with rainbows and a pleco. Elephant nose as well :)

$35 is a pretty good price.

Great little fish. Not very active during the day but they go nuts at night.

Absolute pig of a fish too. Mine would literally eat until they looked like striped golf balls lol.

See the spotted ones in there?? $58 each I think. I had six large striped Raphael's, quite boring as you never see them unless you sit around after lights out with a torch.

Don't think I saw those ones :0??
Just the two strip ones. Didn't look so bad.
Elephant noses makes me wait until night anyway so use to it :)

The spotted ones are pretty cool, if you had turned around they were in the tank behind you.
