This week has been a good week for projects smile.gif

All pieces checked for fit. It was a bit tight so some chips occurred.



4 tubes of silicone later, and a can of expanding foam.



All the joins patched. After this coat I went over the joins with another coat of yellow.



Last coat done and everything patched

Its been 8 days since it was siliconed so as I type this the tank is having its first test fill biggrin.gif

I'll leave it full of water for a few nights and test the pH. It will probably need to be rinsed a few times. When the pH is about the same a tap water then substrate-rocks-driftwood go back in.

Done an amazing job mate. Must say I liked it a lot more before you put that red over the top in the last 2 pics.

Yeah Bowdy I really liked it too. But it was really very yellow, and I didnt want it looking like limestone. There is a few other rocks to go in, and they match the red colour of the background.

Well done on that background mate! Looks freaken awesome. Looking forward to seeing this project all finished and running again, should be pretty bloody special!
